SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it is alarmed in regards to the high variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration read more Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The provider position designed for intervention encounters a large influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tricky to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this website reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to empower the servicing read more of all consumers and improve usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
